Conjoining Seasons by Sarah Tolve
While New Jersey was having a snowstorm I noticed that the flowers outside were holding up the fresh snow. I realized how cool it looked so I used my macro setting and found the best looking patch of flowers I could. In Photoshop I fixed the white balance and cropped the photo.  I believe this is my best photo because it has many different textures, a cool angle from being so close to my subject, and it is strange because it involves snow (which is associated with winter) and flowers (associated with spring).

  1. I like this photo because it catches your eye. It's very rare that you see snow with flowers because usually the flowers wilt before snow even arrives. I like the way the photo looks as well.

  2. It is very beautiful composition. Also it contains very bright color yellow that is clouded by the the white snow. It is very very beautiful.

  3. I really like this photo because I like the way the two different seasons are mixing. It's really cool because you don't often see this especially in such a well captivated photo. I like the colors a lot and how the snow is so white even though it's contrasting a yellow. I also like how the background is black because it looks endless. I like this photo a lot.

  4. I like this picture because of how clear the colors contrast each other. The snow looks really pretty on the flower too. This photo is very nice.
